Lumbarda is located 6km from the town of Korčula and is well connected to the mainland. Lombarda can be reached from the town of Korčula by regular local buses, taxies or by dinghies.
By car: From Austria and Hungary through Zagreb, from Italy through Rijeka, to Split. From Split, the island of Korčula can be reached in a number of ways:
- by ferry from Split to Vela Luka or the town of Korčula,
- by road from Drvenik, then ferry to the town of Korčula,
- by road to Ploče, ferry to Trpanj, road to Orebić, and ferry to the town of Korčula, or
- by road to Ston, through the peninsula Pelješac to Orebić, then ferry to the town of Korčula
By bus: from all large towns in Croatia through Split and Dubrovnik.
By plane: To Split or Dubrovnik airport, then by bus, catamaran or ship to the town of Korčula.
By long ferry: from Rijeka, Zadar, Split, Starigrad on the island of Hvar, Sobra on the island of Mljet, Dubrovnik, Bari (Italy) and Ancona (Italy) directly to the town of Korčula.
By local ferries:
- Split – Vela Luka, then by road to the town of Korčula
- Drvenik – Dominče (town of Korčula)
- Orebić – Dominče (town of Korčula)
By catamaran (fast boat route):
